“Debbie was an amazing celebrant. She was flexible and open to all suggestions. When we were too fussy for her suggested ceremonies she worked with us to create one that felt incredibly personal and according to out guests was a highlight of their day. Our ceremony was on the longish side (45mins) but because Debbie had worked with us so closely it flew by and there definitely weren't any awkward coughs or shuffling chairs. We wrote our own vows and she provided feedback which helped us keep them secret from each other but cohesive. There were very few dry eyes during our ceremony. We also strongly encouraged audience participation which could have been awkward had it not worked but Debbie had exactly the right persons to pull this out of our guests, although possibly the pre-ceremony alcohol might have helped her in this regard.
